More than 10.000 high-quality pieces of furniture were used to equip the luxury mega resort in just six months.
In Tattoo, we have furnished and decorated the common areas and the village of the new Lopesan Costa Bávaro Resort, Spa & Casino Hotel, located in Punta Cana (Dominican Republic). For this, we have collaborated hand in hand with the prestigious American architecture studio HKS, with which we have formed a great team.
In just six months, we have been able to equip this large complex in compliance with the budget assigned for each of the two phases (Phase 1 for common areas and Phase 2 for the village). This resort, belonging to the Canarian hotel chain Lopesan Hotel Group, has received a million dollar investment to create spaces such as a casino, spa, a children’s area, a playground, a bowling alley, a cinema and large dining rooms. We are in charge of supplying all the equipment for these spaces, working with 42 different suppliers from Spain, Indonesia, and the United States.
In Tattoo, we have made the selection and supply of elements such as lighting, upholstered furniture, carpentry furniture, curtains, paintings and various decorative items, rugs, mirrors, theater seats and artificial vegetation. This large project has required, for instance, more than 140 different fabric references in cushions, upholstery and curtains. We have successfully completed this large project thanks to our specialized industrial platform with more than 1,000,000 m2 of industrial surface and our team of experts in a wide variety of industries (wood and metal carpentry, audiovisual, Solid Surface, lighting, custom furniture, Composite, etc.).
An innovative working methodology
Tattoo’s working methodology has been the key to realisation of this large-scale project. Each and every one of the work processes has been controlled by means of an application that allows real-time control of any unforeseen situation concerning assembly, supply, transport, etc. anywhere in the world, and thus being able to correct flaws at the moment and at all times keeping the client informed about the status of the project.
